2013 Arbor Day Photo Contest Winners

The winners of the 2013 North Carolina Arbor Day Photo Contest, "Trees Where I Live", have been selected. The Grand Prize winner is Ryan Love, a twelfth grade student at East Forsyth High School in Kernersville. The First Place winner in the 5th-8th grade category is Alex Arrowood, a seventh grade student at Arrowood Academy in Lexington, and the First Place winner in the 9th-12th grade category is Cameron Sardina, an eleventh grade student at Career Center High School in Winston-Salem. Tykearreon Ledbetter, a fifth grade student at Parkview Village Elementary School in High Point, and Abbi Ragland, a twelfth grade student at Career Center High School, received Honorable Mentions in their respective categories.

The winners were honored and presented with their prizes during an Arbor Day celebration on March 16, 2013 at the North Carolina State Farmers' Market in Raleigh.
